A Memorable Evening
We started off the event with a presentation of a special slide show entitled "The Story of Serdang Rhythmic Angels". It brought back so much memories dating back to 2001. Then, we played the 'Guess What?' game where the coaches were required to guess what the gymnast was trying to tell without speaking.
At around 7.40 p.m, we enjoyed the cuisine prepared while sharing some jokes. We even repeated the power point presentation as requested by the coaches.
After the dinner, the gymnasts performed a unique dance called "Memories". It is unique because we did small parts of each performance that was cheorographed by Miss Elena. Starting from "Mambo No. 5" and "The Men in Black" to "The Fifth Element".
Immediately after the show, we had the 2nd edition of our Angels Race. It was a great fun seeing the coaches running around the golf & country club looking for clues. Coaches and also Auntie Rosie who took part in the race even took off their high heels to enable them to run faster!! The best part was the "Angels Big Give". The teams were required to buy RM 1.50 worth of tidbits and give it out to 10 people ( not including parents and gymnasts). We laughed our hearts out seeing the coaches giving sweets, chocolates and orange peel to the employees there and some other strangers who reluctantly took them.
While the coaches rested and rehydrate, the gymnasts performed a drama called "Turning Over a New Leaf". The coaches enjoyed it and requested the gymnasts to perform it again.
Other than that, we played the "Guess Who?" game. That is when we put up baby photos of the gymnasts and the the coaches were given the task to guess it. The coaches had a good time lauging back at us. Of course, the gymnasts had fun too.
Last but not least, we even had the "Ms. Coaches" award. The gymnasts voted for the coaches who were Best Dressed, wore the Best Shoe, Best Make Up and has the Best Hair. There was also the Most Elegant Coach, which was won by Miss Elena and the Most Lady-like Coach category, won by Miss Atsuko. While Mdm. Kok won the Best Make up category although she did not wear any make up. This is because simple is nice.
In her closing speech, Mdm. Kok congratulate everyone for making this event a memorable and successful one. She hopes this this can be a yearly tradition.
I am very happy that this has turned out to be a long-lasting memory for everyone. After some two months of planning and hardwork, this is a good reward for everyone. I would like to thank all the gymnasts for their effort and commitment. Not forgetting the coaches and parents who are always supporting us. I hope the gymnasts will take the initiative to hold this event in the future. Thank you again everyone!!!!
**I will post the pictures of this event as soon as possible.

No Limits Open, Belgium
On the 20th of May 2009, Miss Elena, Mdm Teh, Veron, Zaty, Joy and me went to Belgium for 10 days. While there, we took part in 2 competitions. One in Antwerpen(No Limits Open) and another in Mol(Mol International Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup) . In the No Limits Open, Joy got 7th placing in the Benjamins category. Veron obtained a 16th placing while I was in 10th placing. We were very lucky to be able to see many good gymnasts from Bulgaria, Russia, United States and many more performing. Especially Iliana Ileva, the national junior champion from Bulgaria. She is really good. We had a good experience. We also had a nice time visiting places in Antwerpen. Going on carriages, visiting a chocolate factory(HINT: our favourite).......
